To the Committee for Bhikṣuṇī Ordination

in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition

My personal view is that these days the bhikṣuṇī lineage prevailing in China and Taiwan is the Dharmaguptaka lineage. Accordingly holders of the vinaya should research the treatises and understand this vow lineage and the [Dharmaguptaka] method of bhikṣuṇī ordination by holding a meeting. If we can increase this bhikṣuṇī lineage it is very important to consider to do so in accordance with present requirements. Therefore everybody should make efforts.
